If you have dry scalp it probably is caused by the products you use. Avoid products with alcohol, and sulfates. They strip hair of natural oils.

Use natural ingredients like oils, coco butter, and shea butter.

Sounds like a hair delima. So imma have to help a sista out this time huh. Well get yourself some black and sassy hair grease. Make sure you get the triple grow kind. It has tea tree oil that is essential for black womens hair. Wash your hair every week. Grease your hair, Flat iron it, then wrap it before you go to bed. Then when you wake up comb it out and style it any way you want. And please dont get a weave all that does is take your hair out. Let your hair breath and grow on its own.

As far as your wrapping cap dont get a cotton one it'll absorb all the grease from your hair. Get a silky one.

Best of luck, BCL

It hasn't always been recommended for black people to wash their hair more than once a week. But, times have changed just like our hairstyles and hair products. Washing your hair 2-3 times a week and following the other wonderful advice you're getting. Its a lot of work but so is being a beautiful woman. Good Luck

what it do gurl!!! peep game....stop using cheap grease becuz that stuff can contain alot of alcohol product and don't use shampoo's and conditioner for caucassion people.....start doing deep conditioning once a week with herbal products such as olive oil or chlorestoral cream. then grease your scalp with do gro or olive green products. After doing so for about a month once a week my hair grew noticably. ~Kamea
