Vincent Van Gogh's "Irises". It was sold at an Auction in 1987 for $53'900,000.00 U.S. Cy.

Van Gogh painted several versions of 'Sunflowers', one of which sold to an unnamed Japanese buyer for over $50,000,000. I don't remember the exact amount. Van Gogh's 'Irises' also sold for over 50 million. I don't remember which one was sold first.
