Is it because I'm too "nice"? I've heard women dig jerks, but I really don't want to believe that. But all my past experiences don't DISprove it either.

I was just in a relationship with a really nice guy, however a women requires attention.... I received very little...first of all the guy worked out of town Mon-Fri...I could live with that , but when the weekend rolled around...I spent as little as 10 minutes w/ the dude...that meant no sex, no love, no attention.... The dude seriously told me he could not live w/o me...but never put the effort in our "so called" relationship...I do not dig jerks whatsoever... but when your man is out of town and does not call or text you...something is seriously wrong w/ the dude... oh he also does not like socializing at all, so he would never cheat...think he needs help...he is a nice dude though...but, seriously, you may be nice, but maybe something is wrong....tell me more... Oh by the way.... I allowed this to continue for 8 months...wishing I could figure him out, but it did not work and I am much happier now....

Maybe u introduce urself as a friend and not more than that..Somehow there are girls who like guys to be honest on what their intentions are, if they want to be friends or more than a friend.
It's not that women dig with jerks, u maybe find them jerks because they can do what u cannot do. Being "nice" is really cool but somehow being a jerk ( sometimes ) is awesome. Its an expression of urself.

Well, alot of women do like nice men, it just depends how nice you actually are. There is a line, just like everything else. Sometimes people can care to much, show to much affection and it does tend to get boring. Change it up every once in a while, but dont be rude about it. Just try not to show so much affection towards something.

Been asking that question for a lot of years! It seems that women like the "bad" guys to an extent. The excitement of the unknown perhaps? Got me?
In the end, they discover that the "bad" guys are TWIRPS and treat them like tramps. Nice guys still (and will always) finish last. But they finish with class and win the chosen prise, IMHO.

sometimes we women want to take things slow I have been with the man I am with for the last 9 years...when I met him we were just friends and that's all I wanted some time later our relationship expanded into a lover situation..We are happy and it is the best relationship ever..women want To be your best Friend when they are your lover too..if you can be a best friend then you are on the right track..and other women do this to play hard to get ..the old saying goes....good things come to those who wait..your true love may be right in front of your eyes with your friend ..don't look for love it will find you and when you are not trying to make love happen it will...stop trying so hard and I promise you will become one of the happiest most loved people in the world..best of luck

that is how the world has transformed women to be!! I personally think that it is retarded how a woman just goes after a guy for his looks.. adn they turn out to be the biggest jerk in the world! then they get married, b/c she likes to be seen with him, adn he beats her. Those kind of ppl are STUPID!!!
