From the way the question was asked, I suspect that you are only interested in losing weight for the homecoming thingy.
Being healthy and at optimal weight is not a frivolous exercise in looking good at a party every so often - it is a lifestyle change. Eat right, exercise moderately, and stay away from McDonalds.
If you want some serious ideas, contact me via email. There are never any guarantees, and 9 days to lose 5kg, 10kg, ...? is being a bit optimistic.
On a lighter (haha) note, a very fast way of losing a lot of weight is to remove an arm or a leg...

do 100 crunches in the morning when you wake up and before bed you will see results from this in 2-3 days other than this no soda, it's really bad for you, not even diet. it's not the calories it's the carbonation that help your body to hold toxins. and try to replace a meal with a salad if you stick to this until then and try to jog for 30 Min's. a day or brisk walk you will lose at least 3-4 lbs. I wish you all the luck in the world.

There are many ways to lose weight fast. And I think the fastest way is surgery. You should go to meet a surgeon prepare for that.
May be you should do it 2-3 times but I think that is no big problem. Beside that , you must follow the suggestion of a nutritionist to keep not to gain weight. Good luck !

Alright, here is the best way I have ever found to lose weight fast. It is called "The Four Day Diet." You can take it more than four days in a row if you want, but this is a great diet. You also NEED to exercise. I hope you know that exercise is the number one biggest factor in ANY diet, ok?

Um...not sure how much you can lose by then. You need to be working out twice a day and eating reeeeally healthily...I'm not sure you'll notice much of a difference...but sometimes if you work out a lot after not having worked out you notice that you're a little more tone.
