the cheep ones at the local store-arent good-and when your pregnant it stimulates growth of hair and other areas-it will be at least $37 a month plus doctor fee-which they dont realize your not pregnant when they do u wont get it-for 10 u can get a bottle but its not going to help much-try it for a month -no results save the $10 at the local store wallmart or regular store---stop worrying that is the worst and cut the ends and vit e -this is like the 4th time i let u know-
relax it will help and pray-Jesus come into my heart -forgive my sins and help me do better-amen-Revelation 3vs19&20 ---so feel good about your self as is then u will be ready to feel wonderfull and it will stimulate growth of body and soul. then Philippians 4vs4-20 peace prayer and power to be content and live rejoicing every day :D

The hormones of pregnancy have alot to do with hair and nail growth, and the vitamins are formulated to support the growing baby, so they are probably not the best thing to take when not pregnant.
GNC has a supplement called "Nourishair" that makes the hair grow faster, you can read what's in it by googling it. Be warned these pills are HUGE and you have to take 2 a day.
Also ProCaps labs sells a "hair skin and nails" formula that does the same thing, supports hair growth and health, and is smaller and easier to swallow.
If you take only Biotin alone, make sure you take at least 2.5 milligrams or 2500 micrograms [the same thing] a day because thats' a good amount to take. I use the Nourishair supplement from GNC now and my hair is growing faster than it did, but it took about 6 to 8 weeks of daily use to see results

It's not the vitamins that make your hair grow, it's the actual hormones from being pregnant. Prescription prenatals are around $40 for a months worth. You can also get cheap over the counter ones from any drug store.

If you're not pregnant, then, obviously, you cannot get a prescription for it. Even if you did have health insurance, they still wouldn't pay for it since you're not pregnant. But, if you're willing to spend the money, then you can get them at your local pharmacy, GNC or Vitamin World. Be warned, though they are expensive, but they are great for your hair. That's why the doctor's prescribe them to pregnant women. Not only for the baby, but when you're pregnant, your hair tends to fall out. I'm not sure how much it's going to cost you per bottle, but there are also vitamins you can buy that help your hair. Goodluck!!!

I get the 4 month supply in the Walgreens brand. It is $9.99. Sometimes they have them Buy 1, Get 1 Free.

They make my hair and fingernails grow like crazy.
