I'm not trying to be disrespectful of anyones belief here. I just want to understand why you believe something like this when the creator designed a perfect system with no flaws. Among my Native People we believe that "God" talks to us through the interrelatedness of all things on the earth. So I apologise if this question offends anyone, it just seams like a stange concept to me..

History based and usefull like a story teller....

it is easier to spread that way, and people are mostly can't find the path and need guidance

God doesn't need a book to show a path. Do you ever read manuels to fix things or install them? Did you read a book in school to learn? Did you look at a diagram to hook up your computer? Have you had to take driver's ed class before you knew the laws? Same principle.
How do you know if you are doing something the right way if you've never done it before? Have to get it from someplace or someone, right? Well God told a person and had him right it down so the other people of the time could read it too. Can you tell a whole story to the whole world in a single lifetime if there wasn't the internet or mail and you had to walk or ride an animal to get all the way around the Earth? It would be easier to right it down and pass it around like you would a note in school. If everyone wanted to hear more they would come to you for more. Simple. I'm not offended at all either. God did make all things on Earth and has control over all. But would you prefer to hear what he had to say about how he wants things from him? That's all the Bible is...His word written. All the people of the Bible were chosen by God to tell His word to. That's all. Unless you read it yourself it just becomes an argument without knowledge. Understand? Kinda?

Only the Lord should instruct from the Word. Mediate communication with God through the Word is actually better than direct communication with spirits and other people. Spirits or people just agree with what matches their beliefs. This is not instructive at all. What if your beliefs are far from the Lord? You really need the Lord and the Word to get instruction.

Another thing, if you learn prophetic interpretation like Joseph and Daniel, your dreams will make more sense. You must know that every object represents its use and that every object has a good sense as well as a bad sense.

I've often wondered the same thing, the Gods need no book, they speak to us directly if we will but listen. It's been my experience that a Holy Book is rarely more than a tool for people to use to try and present their own views as being the words of a Deity. Like lawyers arguing over a contract they take things out of context, ignore the historical context, mistranslate, at times actually ignore the text and just claim that their God didn't mean what He said, he meant what the person talking said. You can't do that if people actually look to Divine for themselves, people will not accept the word of priest, who is, after all, just a human like themselves, over the Word of a Deity, at least, I would hope they wouldn't.

He doesn't. I am a catholic, tho a lousy one, but I understand that God is in everything. As I understand the Bible, (plz note I don't say "Holy Bible" as something that must be said), it's more a testimonial of God's works on earth. We are taught to believe It was written by God's inspiration, not by God Himself, but inspired by Him through the Holy Ghost.
And the trick is, God doesn't show you anything, you gotta choose the good path, choose as in choice. He doesn't force you to do anything. Men do.
Yes, I disagree a lot of times with the Church, not a building, not the actual Church (which means the congregation, all the ppl who shares your belief) but the Roman Catholic Church. I can't agree with men that forbids the use of a rubber that would save lives, or still considers the other beliefs to be wrong.

So I stick to this: God loves, Man kills.

You are not alone I would of asked the same question but im out of them for today. If there was really a god he,she,it would make a presence of some kind...not through a book.......especially a book written by half-retarded men thousands of years ago............where was god a billion years before that" why didnt he speak to cave men and have them write certain things.......why wait so many years later and then by coincedince other people at that same time were writting other prophecys such as the quran and torah?

unfortunately, most people are not that in tuned with god & his creations, so they need a "guidebook". something full of suggestions & past experiences that may help one out when they reach "a fork in the road". the bigger problem is when people look only to "the book" & not to the heavens. they trust to much in the book sometimes, & then become egocentric on believing that the bible is like a "teacher's textbook", has ALL the answers. but if you honestly feel that you can be closer to "God", or what ever name you know him by, with out written texts. more power to you.

first you must understand the reason He created us. To be His friends. Next know that nobody wants a friend who does not want to be their friend, next He already has robots (angels) so He wants souls who choose Him and His ways. This is kinda complicated and since one does not have to be psychic to be God's friend He gave us a game plan, a rule book, a map, and He gave us this earth on which He is ever present reaching out to us, but since men tell each other lies there has to be an authority so we can tell the difference between the lies and the truth. If we were alone with the earth and no one lying to us perhaps we would not need a map, but we are not.

The 'book' Bible tells His story, from the creation of the earth, the fall of man, and Him talking to Noah, Noah building an ark. It has Psalms, which is prayers, and songs to God. It contains the four gospels, written by 4 different apostles, with 4 different view points of Jesus' conception, life, Crucifixion, death, and resurrection. And it has the book of Revelation, which tells of the end of time, the end of the world.

It was given to us by God so we could understand about what His purpose for us is. So we can read and know about Mary, Jesus' mother and about the time Jesus walked on the earth.

We also believe He designed this perfect system, and He talks to us, we talk to Him also, but, to be able to read about His sons life on this earth, that's incredible, it's wonderful,

Because this book is the oldest and has things that charecterize god and shows us things that we need to and what we were made for our purpose. He shows us who he is.It has the prophecies and confirmations of them. The book is the word from the true god himself the creator from the beginning he wrote what we are to do to so that we can get back up to heaven. And the book is very significant it has lasted for a long time this is the word of god himself.

God does not need a book the book was aspired by his word and is a gift to you because he knew that you cant manifest all 66 books in your brain these books are to inspire you to move forward in faith, love and prosperity and to teach other people in different level of faith and comprehension every Body is not as smart as you , so we need a reference to fall back on and yes he does reveal him self in the stars and in the ocean the list is never ending . There is millions of flaws on this earth just look whats on you t.v. you can find thousands of flaws and it all started when God gave us free will to chose. We all have to chose good from evil .God says that it is impossible to have faith with out his words the bible is his inspired word. The apostles were just Gods instrument just like the pen was the instrument to put his word on paper all Scriptures have been inspired by god , if your looking for the truth get on your knees tonight and ask him. You don't need to go to secular outlets when he's been calling you closer to him, that's the only way he can reveal him self to you ( 888-need him) jpprisonministry (go ahead do it) you know whats in your heart put your heart into action and he will honor it and you.
