no!!
And this was my point when they started this 150% cigarrette tax and banned smoking everywhere everyone who is a non smoker agreed with these measures, because they dont like smokers - however, now that the government has gotten away with that, now they are going to legislate what you can eat, and I'm sure there will soon be a huge tax on burger king and M&M's
the erosion of civil liberties continues. what is next? forced sunscreen application every morning? Whatever happened to people being responsible for their own actions and the consequences that result from them? this is why many people in this country dont take responsibility for themselves - because we dont let anyone make their own decisions anymore. If you smoke, you get sick - you have to deal with that - if you eat fries constantly, you get fat - you have to deal with that too. this is the only way to learn good decision making skills - to actually make decisions!! Also - dont we have bigger problems in this country than whether i "get fries with that"??? Maybe New York should consider taking care of all the 911 rescue workers who are now sick from the air above Ground Zero before they waste all this time deciding what i should eat.

Haha. I read that silly article too. In my opinion, no they should't be made illegal, especially since you can still make french fries without the trans-fat.

give us a good reason why they should. You say should french fries be made illegal, i believe you need to give a reason why because all you will get is no.
So i don't think french fries is any problems at all. it's food after all.

They shouldn't be ILLEGAL, but they should be sold less frequently. Or put behind the counter like cigarrettes. Fries suck anyway, so I don't understand the enthusiasm for them. They cause diabetes and make people fat.
FRIES SUUUUUUUUUUCK!!!!!!

hells no! were all aware of the health risks. its about choices. we are free to make those choices. cigarettes were the begining in new york but second hand smoke risks make that law "legit". dont buy the insurance savings hype. whens the last time the price of anything went down?

no, if people want to eat french fries then it should be their right. it's like saying that smoking should be illegal. if people want to keep doing things that they know aren't good for them, then they should have the right to do it.

No, because if they were, then several people would end up breaking the law. Just out of curiosity, why would you want to make them illegal?
