If I have the information for acceleration and time, HOW can I find the distance? Would I have to use a velocity problem too? Am I doing this right???


I am trying to make a table and graph for a situation that I wrote out. I am trying to graph the velocity, but I only have information on the acceleration and time. HOW DO I FIND THE VELOCITY???

a = d^2x/dt^2
So you would double integrate the acceleration over time to get distance.

If acceleration was constant:
x = 1/2a*t^2 + v0*t +x0

eh, i'm no expert... but do u have the initial velocity (u)

s=ut+0.5at(sq)

find s.

den use v(sq) = u(sq) + 2as

hah. sorry my physics stuff returned to my teacher 10 years back.
