ionic breeze. needs to be well positioned. that can mean a multitude of things really but essentially put them in very high traffic areas in the house/apt. only downside is you have to constantly clean the "grates" since they get dirty pretty easily and quickly.

Yes it works - provided you use one fitted with pure HEPA filters. This is a technology used by the military to combat harmful particle and gases.

The best one for home use is one manufactured by IQAir. It's used in hospitals in HongKong during SARS outbreak. If you have money go for the IQAir Health Pro Plus.

If not, an Alen air purifier is also a good bet. For small room, buy an Alen A250.

I wouldn't recommend air purifiers that produces ozones. There are numerous government warning AGAINST buying these type of air cleaners/purifiers. Some popular brands that generate ozones are Ionic Breeze, Oreck and Freidrich's.

They're cheaper but will deteriorate your lung in the long term.

shaklee air source is probably the best. they are expensive but you can find good used ones on ebay.
