im scared that no one will ask me to prom, im not unattractive, people tell me that im pretty/hot alot, (not trying to sound conceited) and i have also been told that im smart and funny and caring but i dont think anyone will ask me to prom because im not really that great of friends with any guys at my school and i dont think some random guy would just ask me to prom
anyone have any advice to as how i would get someone to ask me/ any advice on the subject at all?

when i went to prom i didnt even worry about asking somebody out. personally i wanted to go with just my friends. its way much more fun like that. at least thats what i think. cuz if you go to prom you gotta dance with that just person for the whole night while if you go with friends you can be dancing with as many people as you like. i found it more fun that way + you can be joking with your friends more if you are just with them. hey i had a blast in my prom telling you what i did. you should try it too.

Why wait around to be asked. Women are forced to work now so you might as well get the gumption and ask a guy. But correct me if I am wrong, isn't prom nearly a school year away? You don't want to seem obsessive. Try making friends (it is not hard all you have to do is be a friend) with a guy you want to go with. My prom was really stupid though. The best stuff happens afterward from what I hear but my date got sick and ditched me and the guy that took me home was....Oh well, that is another story. The main point of prom is to have fun!

Well just ask someone out & know its sounds freaky but maybe u could impress a guy like that or go w/ some group of friends good luck!!!

Why don't you go with just your friends? I mean they are the coolest right? going to a prom with a guy is too original, doing the out of the ordinary is much cooler. but if you want that picture with that guy then you could try asking a friend if they could help find you one right for you 2 go with, then hang with him and who knows, he might even ask you to go with him. asking him wouldn't be as bad either, I mean lots of girls do it. one of my best friends just asked a guy to go to the prom with her.

same here ... but i did get asked for homecoming .. and it was superr RANDOMM so hey u never know .. and plus look prom is a really big thing u know .. so hey ur saying ur pretty hot bla bla bla .... well then u should ask some guy .. and if ur funny and nice theyll love to go with u ... BUT MAKE SURE THEY R NOT PLANNING ON INVITING SOMEONE ELSE CUZ THEN U JUST MESSED THEM THEIR PROM NIGHTT !!!

Well maybe they are just shy specially if you are hot, or are waiting for the last minute, if you have someone you would like to ask you out then do some advances yourself, If all else fails, ask someone out yourself

girl, its 2006....you gotta get wat you want. you can't keep waiting cuz next thing you know you're at home at prom night. i did the same thing and i became prom queen. go with a friend or get a group of girls. i see some people do it and it looks a lot of fun.
