i know there are already many people in the world that are fatally ill and sadly know their last day is arriving, how would it be if in life, everyone was born already knowing when they were to die, do you think it would make a difference in a person's way of living? or nothing would really change?

I know it'd make my life better. I'd take up base jumping and use umbrellas.

Everyone knows that they have to die at some point or another but I think knowing that date would definitely make a difference in people's lives and not all for the good. On the good side most people would do as much as possible to really Live life in every moment and probably wouldn't take it for granted. On the bad side, their death date remains fresh in their minds and therefore as the time draws closer they'll probably have a constant feeling of impending doom. Whether or not we know our death dates everyone should take advantage of the time and enjoy their lives to the fullest.

As a good friend of mine has said - “I’m pretty upbeat about my condition even though I know there’s a possibility that I may die here and never return home to live like I once did. When I was young I never really thought about the point in time when I would be 76 living a restricted life in a Nursing Facility. As I tell all youth, live your life while you can because there may be a time in your life where you’ll be sitting here telling others the very same thing”.

Actually, I think it would have a deliterious affect...I think a big reason why people are able to accomplish so much in this life is because their mortality doesn't really hit them until they are of an age to realize they don't have long for this world.

In other words, let's say I know as a young child that I die at 25. Well, to me, that sucks, that's too short. I could become despondant, or reckless.....chances are I wouldn't handle it well because I wouldn't have the maturity to do so. My entire life would be marked by that knowledge.

Conversely, let's say I know I live to be 94....well, that sounds like a long time, so I may decide to just blow off life until I'm say, 50 or so. That's no good either.

Or, whatever day I learn, I may just arbitrarily decide that it's not fair, I should be around longer, or it's not fair, I'll live to be so frail and feeble I won't enjoy the end of my days...and again, be despondant.

But...because I don't know the day nor the hour, I live figuring I may live an average life span.....and I know the "markers" that are along that path...we tend to live our lives that way now....I think we wouldn't if we knew how long we really had.

It would depend when the date was. If it is next week, I'm going to live dangerously and blow my rent money on drugs and stuff. If I'm going to live another 50 years, I'd try to live a healthy lifestyle because I'd be afraid of suffering for many years before that death. Knowing the date of death doesn't mean you won't have cancer or heart attacks or become comatose years before that. I almost died a few times and I was lucky my brain injuries were minor and my body healed so well. I'm terrified of that happening again.

Life is a journey, not a destination. The last thing I'd want to know is the date I'm going to die. It takes the fun out of the trip.

Hard to say for anyone else, but I would not mind knowing my day I depart out of this corporeal world. I have nothing to fear of the after life.

By knowing their death date at one time, they could increase the date of their death. Say there is an obese man, who will die soon because of his large amounts of fat. He might be able to save himself by eating healthier and losing his fat or, better yet, eat healthy right from the start.

It wouldn't change the bible says the the ones who do evil applaud those who do it. In other words its encouraged, see the world likes to do what it wants to. everybody knows they are going to die. and that doesn't change things, so the death date won't matter either.
We will all stand before a mighty GOD and He will say one of two things to you
either
Well done good and faithful servant
or
Depart from me you worker of iniquity, sinner, lawbreaker I never knew you.
The words sinner and lawbreaker are mine. I added them in.
