Since your looking to buy subs, the box they will go in is also very important. Here are some tips (and other info):

With that price you could get either 1, 12" sub(round) or 1or 2, 10" subs.

12" subs will produce more bass or thump
10" subs will produce some thump, but more punch

Go round, since boxes are more readily available for them
Best brands out there are alpine, kicker, and jl audio

dont buy from crutchfield.....they are very very overpriced.....

DO NOT BUY ROCKFORD FOSGATE...they are being made overseas and are possibly going out of business.....they used to be good, but a lot of sellers are not even offering them anymore....trust me

Good luck..

For about $120 a piece I would suggest the Rockford Fosgate F2 they are pretty new and hit like you wouldn't believe... they are about 1200 watts a piece... now as far as size... if you want hard hitting bass go with 10" if you want more deep bass go with 12" and if you want ridiculous deep bass go with 15" I priced the 12" RF and they are the ones that are $120 a piece..

I would consider this. Depending on the sound you want will determine what you will want. If you want a tight crisp base sound you should look for a 4" sub up to a 6". If you want a deeper drone or deeper thump you should look to a larger sub.

I think a couple of 6 foot subs with Ham, Turkey, swiss cheese, a little tomato and mustard would work real well.
