why does this country fail to support education as a major priority?

children in other countries get a higher standard of primary school, they have more grads. and more going on to college, in particular in this country.

Because bringing up intelligent people would compete with those who control us.
We have a LOT of guns in this country; therefore, they needed a different way of controlling us.

less educated people are more easily marketed to. it's all about the benjamins.
