Why have the GOOD Muslims, and I believe there are plenty of them, not done anything, spoken out against, protested against, had a big picture parade about the radical Muslim extremists that are defacing Islam, threatening to kill Americans, and wipe Isreal off the face of the earth? Where are the GOOD Imams and Ayatolahs (sp?) preaching peace and restraint? Why is no one issuing edicts to stop the terror attacks in Iraq and Ireal? WHY WHY WHY? Why can you not speak out against the BAD Muslims?

Well, first of all, you must pull your fingers out of your ears, open your eyes, and take a good look around. FOX, CNN, or whatever other news program you watch may not show it (they're too busy showing all the "good" stuff, the stuff that brings the ratings), however that does not mean it doesn't happen.

Friend, please accept my apologies as I am not a muslim but I can think of two perfectly good reasons why we have heard nothing from the good and/or the moderate muslim leaders. There is a wonderful poem by W.B. Yeats, 'the Second Coming,' written as the world moved towards the second world war in which he pens the line, "the best lack all conviction while the worst are full of passionate intensity." Sadly this was as true when the world geared to warfare in the ninteen twenties and thirties as it is now. The second point we have to stress is that there have been many calls from within the muslim community for peace and reconciliation but in a highly media driven economy this does not make good news and so we do not get to hear much of it. Becasue we cannot always see the light of the sun does not mean that it is not there.

Muslims don't have to publicly condemn terrorism because we aren't responsible for the terrorists' actions. Despite this many Muslims still protest against terrorism (in all forms). If we are going to rally against "Muslim terrorism" it is only fair we protest against all injustices and violence. I still think that even if we don't have to address this issue it is better that we do with all these misconceptions about Islam. Life as a Muslim is hard because of this constant pressure to somehow make up for the appeal "Islam" lost when radicals began defacing it as you said. I HAVE gone to peace rallies, anti-terrorism protests etc. not because Westerners feel it is my responsibility but because I want to be a part of the message. Then what are we left to do? Muslims are bombarded with questions like yours, and they feel it is their duty to answer, but truthfully, the stereotypes are growin faster than we can stop them! Anyway, thanks for your concern. Humans are sacred creations of God, and belong to Him; no one has any right to kill an innocent person.

because the end up in political prisons, get hung, get tortured and get silenced one way or the other. Just look at GITMO. well we have tons of those prisons all over the muslim world and that's where the GOOD muslims are that speak out against the atrocities that the BAD muslims do. it's not "terrorists" that are in those places. It's the ones that want to end the BAD muslim regime that end up dead.
think about it.Evil wants to take over the world but in the end GOOD will prevail. just wait .

EDIT: i read the article provided by AMAL DXB -- but after reading the article i was more surprised. how come people can take prophets and messiahs to be given a form of image -- that too their heads cut-off -- thats breaking the First Commandment. what answer are people going to give to their Lord on the Day of Judgement? and for those without a religion, where is the humanity -- and what sort of humaneness is depicted to future generations, when one places cut off heads of those people who are prophets and role models for billions in the world?.

same of them are and in yahoo answers i saw same Muslims who are speaking out about the terrorists who are giving Islam a bad reputation, but when every day good or even bad Muslim read or hear something bad about Islam make them mad... like today i saw in the news about the German Oprah in one of the seen the acuter has cut heads on chair and it was meant as Jesus head and also Mohamed head and other Prophets that mad me mad and i think it also should made Christians and jaws mad

How do you know the Muslims are not doing anything?? Do you know what goes on inside of the Mosque's?? do you personally know any Muslims?? if so have you asked them anything like this?? I will ask you this...What do you want to see us do??
