Yes and no. The liver secretes bile into narrow channels called bile canaliculi. Bile passes from there into a series of ducts before joining the cystic duct coming from the gallbladder. Their union forms the bile duct. The gallbladder is a sac on the underside of the liver whose purpose is to store and concentrate bile. Bile gets into the gallbladder by first filling the bile duct then overflowing into the gallbladder. Between meals the gallbladder absorbs water and electrolytes from the bile and concentrates it by a factor of 5 to 20 times. The liver secrets about 500 to 1000mL of bile per day.

yes .
the bile is secreted by the liver and is stored in the gall bladder.
when the food to be digested passes through the doudenum this bile is released from the gall bladder . bile helps in breaking down the fats into simpler compounds making it easier to absorb by the small intestine.

The bladder is actually the collection point for the bile. It fills slowly with bile and releases it as needed to help digest fat in a meal. So bile does pass through it but not like going constantly through a pipe more like filling and emptying a stiff balloon.
