ive been with this drummer for about 11 months now. he has a full time day job. and on his 2 designated days off every week- he goes to the studio and records his music. the only time i see him is after work or after recording sessions @ around 11pm. i barely get time with him. but we spend the time he has left basically with me. my problem is that i dont want to get in his way and i know his band always came in first and then his job. but the more serious we get, im starting to feel like im just 3rd place. its so difficult just to have a day with him and just me. it may be like this forever or not. but we act sooo much inlove and we don't fight. but is it worth it to stay even though it wont change? what should i do? help.

Talk to him about having some "together-time" every week. If he cares about you and wants to have a future with you, he will make it possible. If he is unwilling to do that, then you're better off knowing sooner rather than later.

This fellow works and he also has a goal that he is working towards!
Both of these things are good! Yes, in a sense you are in third place! He may well feel the same way, that he is in third place! I worked full time and went to college full time and I knew I was in third place! Life is that way when you are trying to get a head in this world. Maturity helps kiddo! If your not mature enough to deal with life, maybe you should move on or go back home to live!

That all depends on the type of woman you are, & more importantly, the type of woman you want to be.

If you think you two have something special, why not give it a shot & use your free time to further develop yourself into a lady he'll be proud to tie himself to forever? & What are the odds that you'll regret it if you do let him go? (i.e. the song Skater Boi by Avril Lavinge?)

I say if he's treating you right & giving you all he time he can, stick with your man & create a fantastic you in the mean time... Just be sure the new you grows with him & not away from him.

my husband was in a band and i didn't see him that often so i bitched about it so he quite the band. Now we don't even have a marriage, we don't even talk i do my thing and he does his and i think it has to do with his band because he's a great signer and that's what he loved to do. so that's really difficult to answer. With me personally i didn't want to come 3rd his job can come first then i want my time. That's something that you need to think about before getting any more serious with him.

You should ask God to forgive you of your sins. You must repent and get saved. Then you will not concentrate your life on pleasing yourself and your boyfriend but will live a pleasing life to glorify God. The only way to God is through Jesus Christ. Jesus says "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but by me." God hates sin and must judge in accordance to His righteousness. God is perfect and Jesus says that we must be perfect to enter Heaven. We can't be perfect because no one is perfect, therefore we all need to be forgiven of our sins. God became a man in Jesus Christ and died for our sins so that we could have a relationship with God. Without the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross then nobody could enter Heaven. Please repent of your sins and trust Jesus to save you on Judgment Day.

My cousin is same way with his gurl. She hates but has gotten used to it. So I don't want to say u have to put up with it. I would say just support him in away u can. And in the end u will be a lot happier.

Make him sit down and listen to you. No fighting no arguments no raised voices. But listen to him to and explain and work out whats going on between you two.

He'll leave you anyway if he ever gets to be famous. Better cut your losses and get out now.
