It usually means that you are using a part of your lungs that don't get used often.
Normally most people breathe a bit too shallow. They never breathe deeply, so the lower part of the lungs do not get used as much as they should. You can either get phlegm built up, or just moisture vapor and you lungs want to cough it out.
You will notice that if you continue to run or jog as a normal routine this will go away.
If you have chest pains, have a phlegm that is brown or yellowish color, or the cough does not go away you should see a doctor.

You have a type of respiratory infrction that has diminished your oxygen intake.
This is still allergy season and the fall has its peaks around now.
Try walking daily 3 miles and this will help your lung capacity.
If you can't walk without coughing or if you get a fever it could be bronchitis...See your Dr.

Could be a cold or allergies, could be asthma, you may just be out of shape. If it continues go to the doctor.
