MCV- mean corpuscular volume
MCH- mean corpuscular hemoglobin
I don't know what MID is. The other two tests are for measuring the size of your red blood cells. Heavy smokers or people with damaged lungs (like emphysema) will have enlarged red blood cells as the body tries to increase the amount of oxygen to the cells. I hope this helps.
