I want to say I'm not allowed to date untill I'm 16 which is the truth, but on the other hand I don't want him to get his hopes up and ask me out again when I turn 16. But I still want to be his friend. How should I approach him: internet, talking, phone, other?

This is what I think you should say. Say that you respect him for having the courage to tell you how he feels, but you don't feel the same way towards him and that it would be cool to be friends. Do this IN PERSON! This MUST have taken a lotttt of courage for him to tell you.. so in person would be best. Don't JUST say that you can't date until your 16.. because then he will think you like him, but you just arent allowed to date him. Be honest :)
Hope that helps!

Tell him that you really appreciate his friendship and that you hope your other friends were like him. Hope he gets the picture. If he then told you about his feelings, you must tell him that you have no feelings for him in a romantic way at the moment.
Don't be afraid of his waiting for you. It's his decision. Just make it clear that you didn't ask for him to wait on you.

just tell him the truth.i believe that he will understand your situation.he can wait for u if he want bcoz its his choice.if he really want u,he will never givup.so its useless for u to run from him.just be honest to him.say that u only want to be his friend n tell him about your difficulty to accept him as your bf.talk to him slowly.say that u dont want to loose him n want always to be with him but as a FRIEND.tell him everything n try not to hurt him with your words.you can talk through phone.but i think it will be better if u can meet him face to face n tell the truth.it will show your sincere n make him more understand.i know its hard to tell the truth, but u must do it to clear any misunderstanding between both of u.i hope it wiil helps u...

honey tell him that you will ask your parents first if you are allowed to go on a date with him, this way you are having yourself protected from a future stalkers or an over-zealous admirer and then you are also not being too forceful in not letting him down too much and you can still be friends and if he is still being too aggressive with you ask a couple of your 250 lbs. friends in school to talk to him and if its possible to beat the s*** out his brain and that will teach him a lesson !!

Tell him that it was really sweet and all but you dont want a boyfriend. I would either tell him over the phone or in person. I hate being in those situations so I know what you are going through. Good luck!

if your really don't like him, then just tell him that you just want him to be your friend and that's the best thing that you can offer him and not more than that. It would be great if you'll tell him straight about what you really think about him so that he won't insist on dating you when you turn 16.

Why would you even want to approach him if you don't want him. Be cordial but not interested. Never look him square in the eye and don't laugh at his jokes. tee hee Look, why make a big deal when there isn't one? If he appraoches you for a date or whatever just say "Sorry, but I'm just not into you."

Face-to-face and with sincerity just let him know that you would prefer to continue to be friends. He may be hurt at first and if he needs a little space after you tell him then allow him that. If he is really your friend, he will respect and accept your feelings.

Just tell him - tell him the truth - it may hurt him at first, but you will gain respect when he knows you didn't lead him on and lie to him. He may not be mature enough to handle that, but that is not your fault. Just tell him you don't want to lose his friendship(if you feel that way) by making more of what you have with him now.
