I hope some of this may help. Personally,I have my own method. I always have a fan on,pointed away from me...the drone sound is soothing and blocks out crickets sounds and such. I listen to a relaxing tape on my earphones...how natural can you get...no pills of ANY sort. There have been studies that even cast doubt on Natural Pills. Well, good luck, friend. Pleasant dreams.

Melatonin and stuff is a rash approach to issues with sleeping. The best bet is to listen to some relaxing music and lighting a few theraputic candles while u hit the sack. Most people also like to grab the most boring book in their house and being reading it and then they just get sleepy from the boredom

Try a strong infusion of chamomile, which is milder than Valerian. Also try passionflower tea, its my favorite for relaxing and does not make you groggy the next day.

Was going to suggest Valerian Root, but..... I'm not sure if Melatonin is a herb, but it's supposed to affect sleep.

Lack of sleep is commonly caused by a lack of magnesium. It is important to help the blood flow in and out of your cells. If you have a lack of magnesium your muscles will seem ache and therefore you will be unable to sleep.
