Please i need serious answers. I am trying to make gobi ghost (cauliflower), its a desi recipe. How do you make it???

btw when i say gobi ghost, i mean gobi (cauliflower) with meat (Goat preferably or beef).

Its a Pakistani recipe hope u enjoyed
Gobi Gosht

Ingredients:
1 large cauliflower
1 inch piece ginger fresh, peeled
500 grams bhuna gosht
1/4 - coriander leaves, chopped
3 - green chilies, thinly sliced
1 teaspoon garam masala

How to Cook:
1. Cut the cauliflower into medium sized florets and place in a bowl of cold water.
2. Peel and cut the ginger into thin slices. Then cut the slices into thin strips.
3. Prepare Bhuna Gosht, add cauliflower and ginger, stirring all the time, cook for few minutes to coat cauliflower with gravy.
4. Add 1\2 cup of water and bring to boil. Reduce the heat to medium, cover the pot with a tight fitting lid. Cook for 20 minutes or until cauliflower is tender and all the moisture has evaporated.
5. Sprinkle with finely chopped coriander, green chilli and garam masala.
6. Stir gently and transfer to serving dish. Serve with chapati or paratha and mixed pickle. once

Gobi Gosht

1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese (4 oz.)
1/3 c. mayonnaise (not salad dressing)
1 tsp. curry powder
1 lg. head cauliflower, broken into flowerettes, cooked and drained
1/4 c. bread crumbs
2 tbsp. butter, melted

In a medium size bowl stir together soup, cheese, mayonnaise and curry powder until well blended. Place cauliflower in 2 quart casserole; pour mixture over cauliflower. In a small bowl mix together bread crumbs and butter; sprinkle over top. Bake uncovered in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Makes 6 to 8 servings.

Ginger-Curry Cauliflower


20 min 10 min prep
Change to: servings US Metric
1 head cauliflower, broken into florets
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger
2 teaspoons curry powder
1 teaspoon turmeric
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 cup fresh breadcrumbs
1/4 cup chicken broth
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped



1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
2. Add the cauliflower and cook until crisp-tender, about 5 minutes.
3. Drain.
4. Heat the oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
5. Add the ginger, curry powder, turmeric, and salt and cook for 1 minute, stirring frequently.
6. Add the bread crumbs and cook another minute.
7. Add the broth and cauliflower and cook until all the liquid is absorbed, about 3 minutes.
8. Remove from heat, add the parsley, and toss well.

Sorry this is the only recipe for Gobi i could find....

1 lb. cauliflower, cut into med.-sized flowerettes
3 lg. potatoes, cubed
3 tomatoes, finely chopped
1 onion, finely chopped
1 piece (1-inch) ginger
1 tsp. red chili powder
1 tsp. haldi
1 tsp. garam masala
Salt, to taste
2 tbsp. ghee
Green chilies, sliced and chopped
Coriander leaves, for garnish

Directions:
Heat ghee in a kadai and fry the onion until light brown. Add cauliflower and potatoes and fry for 5 minutes. Add tomatoes and all masalas and salt to taste. Cover and cook on a slow fire until vegetables are done. Garnish and serve hot.
