i asked the question before, and an overwhelming number of response from women was that looks matter.
so am i destined for a life of loneliness and sadness then?

I seriously don't think that looks matter. & even if they do to some people, have you ever noticed that men really rarely age well. They just get uglier & uglier!
For me, I am first drawn to a man's confidence and sense of humor. If he can make me laugh we're off to a great start. If he can hold my attention & have an intelligent conversation then I'll definitely give him my real number. That's where things usually fall apart. If they act like idiots on the phone or call to invite me to someplace strange, they've lost me. & that's only because if I gave them my number, at some point in the conversation before that they should have heard me mention what I like. (For example, I told a particular tool that I wasn't very fond of the Yankees, but that I loved baseball... So what did he do? Called & said he had tickets to them playing the Devil Rays, now why on earth would I be interested in that?)
Point is, be confident, be fun & be smart. There's someone for everyone, you just gotta have confidence in yourself to keep trying. Never, never, never give up.

Not at all!!
I'm not gonna lie, looks are important. But if you keep trying, people definately start to see you through different eyes!
They begin to see the real you on the inside, and then it makes you more attractive.
Ever notice how a girl can be beautiful, but if she's a b**** to you, she seems ugly?
It works both ways. If you aren't attractive on the outside, it just means you have to be extra attractive on the inside! Let your personality show and you'll eventually find the right girl for you! :]

Umm....no your not! If looks matter than how in the world did all those ugly people on t.v. get there?! It's what the act like their personality's that matter! And to me looks play a very small roll in liking a person! It's what they are like inside that matters the most!

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I know its cliche' but its true. Just be yourself and you will find love. Look around, is everyone who has love beautiful to you? Probably not, but there mate thinks so and that's whats important.

there is always someone for everyone,, no matter what you look like ,, it's what's inside that matters more,, at first yes looks are important but everyone has dated someone who was fine but ended up being a jerk.

woman want good genes to pass on to their offspring. once your out of high school woman will look deeper than the outside package. personality counts more than looks. you will find a girl who loves you for who you are.

for me looks doesn't matter, unless that guy has all the qualities that I'm looking in a guy. but if a guy is ugly and a jerk? no way

no I don't care about looks if I know 'em and they're nice to me and ask me out then yeah I'd be their gf looks are only skin deep but the true looks are inside I know it sounds stupid but that's how it is too me/
