Gee what an original idea. Why don't you go over to Iraq and talk with the troops there. See what they have done to improve that country. If you have never been to the middle east you might be surprised to learn that outside the major cities most of the country is stuck in the 14th century.

What would you do without your video games, TV, the Internet....

Learn something about your own government first. Citizens like you or me don't right bills.....

Unfortunately, we are there for years to come, thanks to our idiot-in-chief. There is no easy solution to Iraq. We are going to lose thousands and thousands more before this is over with. If only republiQaedans hadn't been so greedy, there would be 2700 sons, fathers, daughters and mothers home with their families right now. Unfortunately, we have widows and children who will never see their parent again, some who will never even meet their parent. Call me a bleeding heart liberal, I can't help that my heart bleeds for these people. I can't help that when I think of the men and women who have given their lives for the political and financial gain of the republiQaedans, my heart bleeds for their family. I say I am proud that my heart bleeds red, white, and blue for our fallen soldiers. To me, I am more a "patriot" than those who dismiss these soldiers as "doing their job." That is an insult to these soldiers, their job is protecting the American people, not Iraqi citizens and the business interests of our own version of a radical religious group. I am a proud American, and a proud bleeding heart liberal. That only shows compassion and love for my fellow man. For those righties who don't understand, that is a true "christian" virtue. Jesus was a bleeding heart liberal, he died for our sins, he gave the ultimate sacrifice. He showed his true compassion and love for his fellow man. Your version of christianity is void of love and undertanding and littered with hatred and intolerance. Seems it is the right who is "Godless"!

iraq51..........Yeah, and now we are bombing the rest of the "modernized" area back to the 14th century.

Maybe you should learn about the government you fought for. Citizens can and have written bills and had them passed into law, that is one of the great things about our government, civic participation and not just by voting.

PS before you call me unpatriotic. US Navy, PO1, ET USS Missouri(Last Crew) Desert Storm 1991-1992. At least we had a good reason for being there then.

Yes! Even the people of Iraq say with a rousing majority that they want us to leave!!
It is time, it has been time, it is long overdue and we are still losing good men over a fight that Iraqis don't want us to fight in their name!

Come home to what? Another 16 years in the wilderness until they actually win a war.

I think instead we should fire the republican idiots that sent them there.

Hey philip, the soldiers obey the will of the people. We actually do speak for them. Read the constitution, it's informative.
