What do I do when people at school spread rumors about me that are not ture ?

What happens when people speard rumors about you and this other boy and then takes this note and gives it to other boys so they think you like them to ?

This was similar to what my niece said to me today when she got home from school "just about rumors", the best way to overcome this rumor is to let it slide, but if this keeps happening i would say to go to that person that is starting them, and confront him or her, but the only reason that the person is starting the rumor he or she is jealous, or in some way envy you, or if it is a guy, he might even like you, but there is a reason behind this matter, if it bothers you, you need to think through the matter you have on your hand, but if you did anything to cause this, you need to go and tell him or her you are sorry, but if you didn't do anything to cause this don't worry about it, all people have problems, either at home or at school, so don't get mad at them, pray for them

Remember, whatever the rumors is, that is the thing that scares the living @$%^ out of the person who started it. Its like a little window into their soul. Remember it and torment them with it, quietly and anonymously, and for the remaining years you have in school. If down right it will turn them into a paranoid, quivering mass of self-absorbed jelly.

One of two things. 1. Ignore it. who gives a flying **** , what people say about you, and really, who really believes everything they hear.
2. Go to the source of the gossip, and kick the crap out of her.
Thats the advice i've been giving my own children for years now, and it seems to work. The second bit of advice is the one i've used myself most often, and it always had quite a lasting impression. People always think twice about telling rumors when they've had their asses beat for it once.

Well girl just know that you are being noticed!! Just ignor it because the more you cry about it and let it bother you the more people will wanna bug you. Also know that those people that started that rumor about you are imature and wanna get attention any way possible.TRUST ME!!

To be defensive would just confirm the rumor. Go to the offensive and you'll just spread it more. Give them your best smile and move on.

If they're not true, someone feels very insecure about themselves and is boosting themselves up by making you look and feel bad about yourself. Don't let them do that. You're great, and these guys will either see that or they won't. Either way, the outcome is going to be hard. Just accept it and let it go, you'll feel better and the culprit will look like an idiot.

Ignore them!
Just let it roll right off your back, and eventually people will lose interest.
If you show that it bothers you, then it will keep the fire burning.
Ignore it, and people will get bored and move on to the next new rumor.
