My cousin was hysterical when she call, she has 2hrs - 2months to live. I thought she said "nannette's disease" - she had ringing in her ear, then paralysis in her lt leg - she was tested for lymes, HIV, etc - this morning she woke up and is blind in her left eye and she has lesions on her spine that will continue to produce until they take over her body. Any idea what this terminal disease is?

possible Behcet's? (pronounced beh-shets) causes ulceration of the mouth and genitals, can lead to blindness, can affect the central nervous system and the joints and blood vessels. I don't know and I'm not saying this is what she has but i'm just trying to figure out what she could possible have that sounds like nannette's disease because i've never heard of that and I cannot find it in Taber's

no one can diagnos over the internet. has she seen a doctor? She needs a doctor ASAP! Dont play games. Even if she has no insurance she needs to see a doctor. Some hospitals offer free care to those that ask and apply for it. (if she can afford care and cant get insurance). She could have many different problems. Your cousin might also be blowing it all out of proportion.

Instead of "Nanettes' Disease", is it possible she meant "Annette's Disease"...meaning the disease that Annette Funicello has?

If so, she's referring to Multiple Sclerosis, which can produce many different symptoms and comes and goes into remission. The following link may help provide information and support... http://www.nmss.org/

If she's referring to something else, it would be great if you could go with her to the doctor, to get more information and to be better able to help her.

Best wishes.

She needs to go to the Dr. I hope she's just pulling your leg & that you're not trying to pull ours. I've never heard of someone that has 2 hours & 2 months left. That is worded way too strangely. No Dr. gives that kind of timeline & certainly doesn't word it in that way. Anyway, if a Dr. did tell her this then she needs a second opinion.
