What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets?
What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it?
What if we flipped through it several times a day?
What if we used it to receive messages?
What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it?
What if we gave it to kids as gifts?
What if we used it as we travelled?
What if we used it in case of an emergency?
What if we upgraded it to get the latest version?
This is something to make you go...hmmm...where is my Bible?

Oh, and one more thing. Unlike our mobile phones, we don't ever have to
worry about our bible being disconnected because Jesus already paid the Bill. Its like the prepaid account that never runs out!!

Have a blessed day!

I am agnostic, and I agree with you. People should read it, especially if they intend to engage in conversation about it.

Actually I don't wonder about it because I don't have a mobile phone or a cell phone either.

I have at least 40 Bibles and I read a portion of 1 every day.
I give Bibles as gifts to lots of people: children, grandchildren,
nieces / nephews, neighbors, my daughter-in-law's step mother and half sister, a manicurist in a beauty salon ...

As for upgrading to the latest version - do I ever have trouble when I got into a book store!

Thank you for asking.
May you be richly blessed!

Chris, you posted to one of my questions and it seems, from this question, that you are Christian. I was Christian and I believe Christ led me to Baha'u'llah, the Manifestation of God that Baha'is cherish, love and follow. Some of His favorite writings of mine are the _Kitab-i-Iqan_, the _Hidden Words_ and the _Tablet of Tarazat_. What if people read these Writings? Would the prophecies in the books of the Old and New Testaments begin to come true?

truly reliable! i like it! i'd no longer continuously comprehend the position my cellular telephone is, yet I continuously comprehend the position my Bible is. I did lose a Bible once, and that i changed into truly freaked out about it; I felt like I had lost area of myself. humorous project, I lost it in church!! yet like the lady contained in the Bible who hunted for her lost gold coin, I did that too, and positioned it.

Wow...........thanks for sharing that. I do use mine in many of those ways, but I don't carry it everywhere I go like I do my cell phone. As for upgrading........I don't think there IS an upgrade for God's Holy Word. : ) I think I'll go buy a purse-sized one tomorrow.

Well, my relatives use my mobile phone to make me feel guilty and try using their Bibles to make me feel guilty, too, so I guess they do exactly that.

Seriously, why are you trying to stir up guilt feelings in your fellow Christians and tell them they aren't good enough if they think about anything else in the world sometimes?

I treat my Bible better then my cell phone, and probably use it more often.

It would make driving that much more dangerous. I can't stand people who use their phones constantly. Put it down and focus, people!
