Tap water is safe to drink, in most areas. I didn't drink or use the tap in Delaware, because it had an odor.

Boiling water kills organisms (which do not exist in tap water), but it concentrates the minerals. Boiling water only works effectively if you are in the wilderness. You body can use the minerals which settle in your boiled tap water (the white "floaties").

The Environmental Protection Agency sets standards for tap (drinking) water. The utilities must implement these standards. Call your water department and ask for their annual report. You will be pleased with the results you get (unless you are in Delaware).

If you want to drink pure H2O, buy distilled water from the market. You know when you boil your water? Distilled water is the steam that rises from your pot. It's water in its purest form, and uncontaminated.

Food for thought:

You drink your distilled or boiled water.

What do you cook with?
What do you make ice cubes with?
What do you make Kool Aid with?
What do you wash dishes with?
What do you rinse dishes with?
What do you brush your teeth with?
What do you bathe with?

You should be able to contact your local health board and request information on your drinking water. Unless soemthing has been issued about a problem, your tap water should be safe to drink. If you feel more secure filtering it, that is ok too. But even filters don't get everything out. White stuff in the water could be anything. It could be pieces of your faucet! Test your water, or just continue to filter it. This is almost always safer anyway.

not exactly sure, but i think it depends on what area you are in.
where i live, waters okay to drink from the sink. although, if i were you i would ask a neighbor or a friend that lives in the same city as you. for now, i would try bottled water or boil it before you drink it. i hope this helps!!!
btw: try not to worry so much. your life will be better stress free!!

You can save a lot of time if you buy bottled water.
However, I think boiling tap water is the best way to go whether it's filtered or not.
I wouldn't trust anything floating around in my water.
That's just my opinion.

Yes I drink water right from the tap. Sure it's a little chewy but you get used to it ; ) Just joking, the water is fine to drink.

The safety of tap water depends on your area. We have a filter on our tap plus we run it through a Brita filtre pitcher when we put it in the fridge.
