Layers will make it really curly when it gets wet. Sorry, I have the same thing. Notice how, what we have is the opposite of what we want? All my school friends said they wished they had my curls!

Bangs probably no, layers (by someone who knows how to cut curly hair) yes.

Layers: I have very curly hair too, but the lady who cut it knew how to layer it so that it looks good both straight and curly. She cut my hair while it was wet/curly by the way.

Bangs: Some people CAN pull off curly bangs. They look really nice when you don't brush the curl out completely, but separate the curls there with your fingers, so it ends up looking like tendrils of hair instead of frizz.

If you can wear your hair curly with curly bangs then go for it. Make them long enough so that you can brush or pin them to the side. If the bangs have to be straight to look good on you then it isn't worth the hassle and 24/7 humidity worries in my opinion.

i would say no, layers wont help your hair from not frizzing/curling it'll just make it more 'puffy' but yes to the bangs :)
