Okay, there's this neighboorhood kid that I'm kinda like a father figure to..his dad left when he was a baby, so I'm the only adult male in his life. He's 13 btw...so anyways, he and I were drinking the other night (he loves Coors!) and he told me that he got his 12 yo girlfriend pregnant. He asked me what he should do, and I told him the responsible thing for him to do would be to drop out of school, get a job (maybe a paper route) and raise his family...you know, good old-fashioned American values! He doesn't have a car to get around in, so I told him he could use mine. I also told hi that if he needs a place for him and his family to stay, I would let them live in my shed. I'm trying to be a role model for the kid....am I doing okay?

You rock! We need more people like you to teach our kids strong moral values. But I noticed you left out signing up on the welfare system--the more children he has the more money the old lady can get. Not to mention he will have money to restock your beer supply in exchange for rent.....

BTW--why can't these people take a joke???? Geez....

Its nice that you're like a father to him but a good "father" would not give a 13 yr old beer no matter what and they would try to dissuade the kid from even having sex yet least of all unprotected sex.And to stay in the shed? Come on what he needs to do is talk to his mom and/or he and his 12 yr old girlfriend should get a support group. At the rate his life is going its just not healthy. Sorry it really doesn't matter what i think but you should watch what you type. Saying that you give a 13 yr old beer is grounds for arrest and just plain stupid. So no i didnt think you are doing OK or being a good role model. Maybe the best advice you could give him is to talk to his mom about what she thinks.

If I didn't know the whole story, I would swear you made this up...but I know you're serious, so I guess I'll answer. You need to tell him the truth...admit to him that YOU got the girl pregnant and not him. You just don't want to take responsibility for your "mistake" and I hate to see him get stuck with your offspring. Don't you think since you've done this so many times that you should step up to the plate for once? Please stop reproducing...I know you're goal is to have 25 kids, but seriously, 10 is a great place to stop. Now, get up off the babysitter and get a job....

Unbelievable. NO!!!! A good father would not encourage his son to drink at age 13. The boy also needs to get a good education. The girl and him should discuss adoption. There is also always Family Services that will help him. I do commend your concerns for the boy, though ( if this is even true).

NO NO NO NO NO NO What your doing is telling the kid that you can be walked on like a mat. Now what you should do is MAKE HIM STAY IN SCHOOL! He shouldn't of even had SEX with the girl. I can't believe this the girl will probably die during birth. OMG

I hope you are joking or else you are a MORON! He probably didnt get the girl pregnant. Some kids dont really understand what that means, how to get someone pregnant. Sometimes if they just fool around they think that = pregnancy later.
So first i would ask what he did that he thinks got her pregnant. real DETAILS so you know if he knows how to get a girl pregnant. Then I would just tell him to tell his parents and have the girl tell hers.

i don't think you are helping him... if tomorrow he comes and tells you he has killed a guy and will you go and get yourself arrested instead of him?
you better educate him, what should he do so that he can stand on himself.. leaving school at 13 will not allow him to earn good in future... i don't think a girl of 12 gets pregnant so easily... even if she has got, there are many options to get aborted, and morover it's harmful for her to be mother at 12...
get wise, don't be tooooo generous.... cause it's not generousity, it's foolishness....
