I have a friend that drinks and parties every weekend...and she seems to get sick with the flu ALOT! any virus that goes around she usually gets it. Could this be from the alcohol? does it lower the immune system if you drink every weekend?

Tell your friend to do the following:
-To drink in moderation two drinks maximum -i.e. 40ml of hard liquor in divided doses along with food or after food. (It looks like medical prescription and not calling it a nice time, still when you complain you have to follow it or you asked for it)
--Drink lot of water before and after drink. He or she, your friend, can dilute the drink by adding water.
-Don’t use medicines along with drink either immediately before or after drinks that potentates the drink or makes it toxic. Let her or him consult a doctor.

Some people cannot tolerate drinks and it is better for them to avoid completely.
Your friend can have nice time in any alternative pursuits that gives equal pleasure to spend the weekend.

YES.

She is 'sickly' because she is lacking a group of complex carbohydrates which serve to allow the transfer of biological data at cellular level. Her immune function has already been severely compromised.

Replacing those carbohydrates is a simple process, without drugs or chemicals.

If she must binge so much, the only thing you 'might' be able to talk her into is drinking at least 2 liters of bottled still mineral water per day (anyone who tells you it is a hype has no idea what they are talking about)

Finally, you should try and explain to her that if she continues to compromise her immune function like that, she will kill herself. Plain simple scientific fact.

Good luck.

To stay healthy the body needs to stay hydrated. Water in our body helps at the cellular level to rid the body of toxins [poisons, impurities, viruses, etc...]. When a person drinks heavily it dehydrates the body. The body now lacks the proper level of water needed to help in the removal of these bad substances. Drinking to excess also makes one tired. I would also guess your friend does not have good weekend eating habits. You must nourish the body to stay healthy.

I would say so. It certainly does not do a body good! People who drink alcohol do not eat well. If you don't have good nutrition, your resistance goes down and you get sick.
