The Official name of the church is and has always been "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints"

We believe in Jesus Christ as our savior.

We may not have the beliefs of Evangelicals, or Protistant's, however we do believe in Christ. Making us "Christian"... Don't get me wrong... Im just as ashamed to be grouped in the same category asn you guys just as much as you're embarsed for us.

And before you want to stab our faith, you need to study it OUTSIDE your Chicks cartoons and "God Makers" videos produced by your own biased org.

Otherwise... You just sound Stupid to us. And im just as sorry for you looking stupid, as you are for me being mormon.

A christian is a person professing belief in Jesus as Christ or following the religion based on the life and teachings of Jesus. A mormon is the popular name given to a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. If a christian believes and lives as Christ, and mormons are following what they believe to be the life and teachings of Jesus, then they must be christian too.

As long as a person is good and treats others well and with respect this world will be a better place. Why waste time calling names and starting arguments?Just live peacefuly!

HELLOOOO!
You look stupid for posting this lie:
"The Official name of the church is and has always been "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints"

FYI:
The LDS Church has had at least five different names (Documnetary History of the Church Vol. III, p. 24). On April 6, 1830, it was originally called the "Church of Christ" (see D. & C. 20:1, D. & C., copyright page, or 1833 Book of Commandments). On May 3, 1834, the name was changed to the "Church of Latter Day Saints" (Documentary History of the Church, Vol. II, p. 63). Still later, on April 26, 1838, it was changed to the "Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints" as it is known today (D. & C. 115:3-4). If the church name is an earmark of being the true church, then the LDS Church could not have been true between 1834 and 1838, since neither Jesus nor Christ were in the official name of the LDS Church then!

Mormons are not Christians. Mormons do not worship Jesus Christ as God, Mormons do not pray to Him, Mormons do not have a personal relationship with Him. Just like you, demons believe in Jesus Christ! If you want Him to save you it has to be on His terms and the Mormons can't help you with that.

They are not. When you get your president standing up at assembly a few years ago and saying that the God you worship is not the one of the Bible, then that is truth in advertising. That has been an uncommon commodity in the LDS church PR work over the years.
I have seen the God Makers. There isn't one thing in there that is not true and couldn't be established from your own literature. It is true that the Temple Ceremonies were changed after Ed Decker and the Sackett's did their work, so that has changed.
Do you know that the best collection of anti-Mormon literature that I have ever gotten my hands on comes from 3 places? Deseret Press, Bookcraft and the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. There is nothing better to look at than the church's own materials. Many have told me that an honest study of materials from those places has turned them away from the church!
It has to do with the president's comments. Who the LDS church holds out God and Jesus as is not the same as what the Bible tells us.

You don't believe that Jesus IS God the third person of the trinity,Father, Son and Holy Spirit,1x1x1=1 God .You believe1+1=1=3 different Gods. You believe His blood was shed in the garden that's why you abhor the cross. You believe Jesus is Lucifer's spirit brother and that people turned black because they stayed neutral in the war of Jesus and Lucifer. You believe that you will someday be the god of your own planet and that your wife needs your permission to enter heaven.Come on get with you all have so many outside biblical practices ,you make the Catholics blush,at least they are Christian(Though wrong in a lot of ways too) The best advice I've heard is by Marti Luther(not King)"Solos Scripturas"...Scriptuers Only(meaning the 66 books of the Bible)
Your not Christians you have your own religion using Christian and Jewish names.(Sam....that's not even a Jewish name unless it's Samuel.regarding book of Mormon)

only until recently have Mormons wanted to be called Christians, preferring not to be included with Christian denominations, which Joseph Smith said were, "all wrong ... all their creeds were an admonition in his sight, and that those professors (Christians) were all corrupt" (Pearl of Great Price, Joseph Smith, 2:18-19).They are not Christians for several reasons, and their unbiblical doctrines show them to be a "Christian" cult.

The name Christian was first used, as Acts 11:26 records, to identify the disciples of Jesus Christ. The word "Christian" is the Greek word "christianos," and it means an adherent of Jesus Christ. It literally means "Christ ones" (Acts 11:26, 26:28, 1 Peter 4:16). The correct definition of the word is one who is a follower of the Jesus Christ of the Bible. For almost two thousand years it has never had a reference to anyone other that the historical Jesus Christ of the New Testament. The god of the Mormons is not the God of the Bible. To the Mormons, Jesus is the firstborn son of an exalted "man" who became the god of this world. The Jesus Christ of Mormonism is not the Jesus Christ of the Bible.

The Mormon Jesus is the son of this man-god. The Mormon Jesus is the brother of Lucifer, and according to LDS teaching, he married several of the Marys of the New Testament. He is not, to the LDS church, "God incarnate" as the Bible plainly states. Clearly, the Mormon god and Jesus are not the true ,Brigham Young, said, "When the Virgin Mary conceived the Child Jesus ... He was not begotten by the Holy Ghost. And who is His father? He is the first of the human family" (Journal of Discourses, pages 50-51). i ask you,"If I accept you as a Christian, will you accept me as a Mormon?" Would you accept me as a Mormon if I reject Joseph Smith and all the LDS prophets as being prophets of God. If I do not believe in the Book of Mormon or the LDS Scriptures, baptisms for the dead, the temple endowments, the LDS gospel, would you accept me as a Mormon?

The name of the Mormon Church has not "always" included the name of Jesus. His holy name was inserted into the church's name in an effort to make the church more acceptable to Christians. While Mormons do incorporate Jesus into their bizarre theology, what they teach about Him is completely incompatible with Christianity. (He is one of many Gods; He was once just an ordinary man but worked his way up to being a God; and other Mormons can do the same thing and be placed in charge of their own planet just as Jesus was placed in charge of this planet.) Therefore, while Mormons are largely very moral people, they are not Christians.

Maybe Mormons are like the "other Christians" just like the "other gospel" of Jesus Christ. I really don't know if you want an answer to your question or not. I think not.

What does embarse mean? You use it in your diatribe.

Most Mormons aren't quite as rude and insulting as you. One thing they do have going for them, they are nice. Unfortunately you don't fit into this category, either.

Mormons follow a false prophet, a false Christ and a false gospel. Insist all you want, Mormonism is Mormonism, not Christianity.

God Makers may have been made by Christians, but the people in it are former Mormons, and are telling the truths that the "church" does not want people to know.

Even most Mormons have no clue what goes on behind the scenes, and in closed meetings.

I believe that you are sincere in your belief. I just believe your belief is faulty to the point of insulting The Heavenly Father and his son Jesus who is divine by the way.
