My friend would love that!! he has been waiting for 5 freaking years...answering pathetic questions such as "what country did we receive the statue of liberty from?" He has been filing papers and refiling these same papers for 5 years! He loves this country and would love to become a citizen, which is more than I can say for any American.

Got news for you they already pay all of those taxes that you just mentioned !!! Even when they are been paid " off the books" which some of them are, they pay almost every tax we pay... Auto insurance, property taxes even income taxes ( when they use fake ssn) they pay. So what does the social security administration does with all the money that employers are paying under fake/stolen social security numbers? Business still deduct to all those people out of their check just like all of us. If they buy a house with their ssn or tax id number, even been illegal they get taxed on it just like us..
So people I suggest before you start believing what our government officials are trying to feed to us do your research and see the truth, 'cause it is out there.

Oh, don't get me started. Of course, they would jump at it. First of all, they would be able to bring over several relatives and spouses. Then they would pop out a handful of kids they could not afford in order to get free cheese, milk, dry beans and unsweetened cereal. Then they would sign up for Medicaid, because they don't make enough to pay for health insurance. And of course, the babies can't nurse forever, so they would demand their food stamps. I also imagine, there are lawyers at the ACLU just waiting to file a lawsuit claiming the lack of declaring Spanish as a second customary language and forcing Spanish speaking kids to learn English in public school violates freedom of speech. Then there is the ability to get Social Security Disability, so when they are burnt out from doing the jobs natural born citizen just are not willing to do, they will be able to sponge off our social security funds until they die. I imagine there would also be a push to finish colonizing California, New Mexico, and Texas; since we stole it from Mexico. As I said, don't get me started.

Pay taxes ? Yeah and how do you do that when 90% are paid in cash,what do you think they deserve for being a criminal.The amnesty bill is dead it was removed from the bill.so that's a dead mute point.There will be no amnesty for the illegals so stop imagine it will happen.
Deportation one at a time if need be and secure our borders now.

They would love that.. as well as John McCain and other liberals.. The illegals would love it because that would mean n that they could bring in up to 10 or so family members... Most of them don't want to give up their Mexican citizenship, and I'm assuming that is the group you are talking about. But they don't want to retain the status quo. A number of day workers are given legitimate visas to work in the US for limited periods of time - eg harvesting fruit and vegetables - and then must return to their country of origin. They are happy with that because they can earn good wages to take home. They don't really want to become US citizens, because their homes and their families are not here. All they want are decent jobs.

Some of them just come here every couple years and work their tails off for a while, then do it all over again a few years later. Did anyone ever think of that? Because wouldn't you go somewhere for a few months and work extremely hard so you can come back here and live like a king for a few years? If they really wanted to live here permanently, they would conform to our rules and society instead of expecting us to conform to them.

They already do!! They just don't get their taxes OR Social Security back!
If you are intimating that they don't, you are not correct!
If we do indeed pay for the education or other services for those who are illegal, 99 of 100 are here to get wages that amount to about $6,000 a year. Arrest and Charge their Republican employers, as they are the one committing a crime! Being an illegal is not a crime, it is a civil offense!
If you are intimating they don't pay taxes, even if it were true, who cares?
You let 48 of the richest corporations in the world this year pay no taxes, oil companies pay between 2 and 4% of the Billions made in profits while they rip us off , most of the rich pay no taxes, and no Social Security after they pay the max amount, which for them is peanuts!

A lot already pay into the system already and get nothing in return so they might want it. Though I don't think it's a good idea to have another Amnesty.
What we need is a revamp of the immigration laws so people can actually get in legally instead of waiting multiple years. That wont' happen though with the current barrel of monkeys ( politicians) since they like are pro big business which like cheap tamed labor.

Status quo so they can go back home whenever they want to, no questions asked. Like when they commit a crime, they can "escape" back home.
