Why does everyone go back to when people came here and took over Native Americans? DO YOU KNOW that is such a small % of our ancesters who did that??? Do YOU KNOW that over 90% of our ancesters came well AFTER that? Ask your parents or grandparents and they will tell you that their parents or grandparents came here from wherever. And it will have been way AFTER this was already an established country. WE are not at fault for the native americans. SO quit using that as an excuse for illegal immigration!!! It have nothing to do with it!!

You are so right!! Being Native American I have heard all those arguments about everyone is an immigrant even the N.A.'s. Well, I guess we 'were' immigrants, but our people were the first ones that got here and 'stayed'. I think when a group of people are here for approximately13,000 to 30,000 years they have the right to be called "Native" or "First People". When Europeans came there were no laws on immigration. Those people formed our government, passed laws, voted for change to make the USA a better place to live and our people have continually made changes to better our lives. One of those laws they passed was the law on illegal entry. THAT law is to be enforced. WE have the RIGHT to DEMAND that it BE enforced. This is the 21st century, 2006, not the 17th or 18th century. Most Native Americans do not live in the past, we live in present, now, today. We are proud of our Native American heritage, but we are AMERICANS. We fly the Stars and Stripes, speak English, vote, have our families, good times and bad times, work, and get our educations just like any other American. Todays Americans are diverse. We are white, black, brown and all colors in between and of many nationalities and mixes. Illegal invaders want to try to drive a wedge between the Native Americans and others, or our Black Americans and others, or other (former) nationalities of Americans and the rest of us. They tried it before but we stuck together, we stood United like our country. We won't let them divide and conquor us.

It is just a way to throw a smoke screen over the real problem that illegal immigration causes our country. Like the 9 billion dollars California spent educating illegal immigrants in one year or the 11 billion dollars California spent in providing health care in one year.
Until we tell our government that we want to start taking care of our own LEGAL citizens, nothing will change. We can not afford to keep paying for people that sneak into our country and stealing jobs and money from the LEGAL citizens of our countries.

When you joined yourself to America it became your problem.... You take on the benefits and burdens of a nation you live in.
(I love americans don't get me wrong)
But i don't see what native americans and the right to land etc... has to do with illegal immigation. It could never be an excuse to enter America. The legacy belongs to the people already there...

Not only that, this whole "native American" thing is a load of crap. All they were was a group of people whose ancestors beat the Europeans here.
They DID NOT spring up out of the ground here!
Using that BS argument they use, I guess we should all book it back to the Middle East and Africa- since that is actually the cradle of civilization- where it all really began.

I think the people with the bull answers are the uninformed. What people don't realize is how hypocritical Mexico is for example by acting so outraged about our laws when the treat THEIR OWN immigrants from other South American countries outright brutally.

You are right. It's the same with me every time and they TRY to censor you by constantly reporting and other immature things. They even go as far as to post pornographic links and impersonate you if you say what you want to say. They have tried and tried to get rid of me but they can't. Keep up the good fight!! i think that because back in the like 1500's or 1600's, the genocide towards the native americans was the largest in world history...they dont tell you in history classes and teaches dont likke to talk about it BUT when they settled here there were about 13-20 MILLION native americans and by the 1900's there were ONE MILLION LEFT!!! and that includes the 400 years that they were having children...its pretty sick...and i think that people are trying to get the word out that its alot worse than most americans think.....and the way you put it, you say they "took over" native americans...they KILLED them off...its alot worse when you get the whole story....hope this helps...
