Say what's in your heart, in your mind. Thankgiving for your health, for the ability to work to support your children, for your children and how wonderful they are. Say it in your own words. No need to recite a specific prayer. God likes that personal touch too.

God does not want you to just recite something that you've memorized. He wants your sincere prayers.
I like to read one Psalm and one chapter of Proverbs as soon as I wake up with my morning coffee. Then I have my morning prayer time and it all depends on the day. I always thank God for the many blessings He has given me including the most basic, meeting my daily needs. If there is something going on that day, or that week, I will pray about that. I ask Him for strength where I need it.
The point is, God wants our sincere prayers, not memorized sayings.

I don't think God is looking for too much. The most important thing is to have a personal relationship with Him, acknowledge that you can't do anything without Him and really be thankful for that first breath that you take the minute you open your eyes...and say...Thank you Father for keeping me through the night, for watching over me and allowing me to see this morning's light. Now, Father, by the presence of the Holy Spirit, guide my ways, thoughts, actions, and speech today and let me be a light in the earth to those in need. I ask this prayer with thanksgiving, in Jesus' Name. Amen

If you must recite a prayer by rote, Martin Luther's Morning Prayer is cool. Best if you prayed nothing already pre-writtten. Just talk to God as you would a best friend. That's what He wants.

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.
Amen.

I do the same thing every day on my way to work. All I say is thank you for this day, my family, my job and all the good in my life because I am nothing without you. I ask him to come into my life and make me the person he wants me to be. God Bless You

Just say what is on your heart. You can start by thanking him for living to see a new day. You can ask him to protect you from harm both spiritual and physical throughout the day. You can ask him to Bless your family. You can thank him for the things he's given you....he just wants to hear from you. Just talk to him.

Thank you Lord for another day. You created me. You sustain me. You are worthy of my all today. Please watch over me. Keep me from sin and protect me from the evil one so that all that I do may bring honor and glory to you today.
