Especially when you are down, it is important to eat healthfully. When you think about it, eat. It has been proven that your body can more easily metabolize 5-6 small meals throughout the day, rather than one or two large ones. Make sure you are drinking plenty of water, and you can always use fruit juices and decafinated or herbal teas to keep other good things in your system up. Try smoothies, if you'd rather drink than eat. If you are uninterested in real fod, maybe try to eat a meal replacement bar of some sort or even half. Remember that your body needs calories to burn them, but every little bit helps. Eat popcorn! It's good for you, really! And when you are down, never forget to eat dark chocolate. It has seratonin in it to make you happy, and healthy antioxidents too. Hope this helps!

You need to worry less about WHAT foods to eat and more about HOW to increase your appetite and the best way to do that is to increase your metabolism. Be more physically active, drink more water and less soda or tea or other types of drinks. A few weeks of this and you'll find your appetite will increase and your mental objections to foods will decrease. Don't look and be so depressed, you're much too young and pretty to be wasting this life you have to live.

Miso soup. Do you have a good quality Japanese restaurant in your area? You can get it for take out try it and see if you like it. It's nearly a complete meal and extremely nourishing.A person could basically live on it this soup.Hang in there it does get better if you take things one day at a time. Also pureed vegetable soups like cream of broccoli are good.Just don't eat the canned variety.

They have some nutritional bars or you could drink those shakes like Ensure that my daughter had to drink when she had a loose tooth from a bike accident. Just take small amounts but eat oftener.

Fruit, veggies, and beverages. I'm not sure what makes you uninterested in eating, but not eating does tend to give you a lack of motivation which can manifest itself in so many different ways.

I looked up a granola bar recipe online. They are yummy, and pack quite a few calories. Try that.
