carrots dont rebuild your eye vision..
they just make your eye sight the best quality of vision possible for you.
Say your looking at a pencil..if you eat a carrot, it wont make your eyesight better, it will just make you be able to see the pencil in a sharper vision.
it's kind of hard to explain!! hope i helped!!

During World War Two, the British had developed a radar system that allowed them to track and destroy the attacking Luftwaffe planes.
But they did not want the Nazis to know about this system, so they claimed the UK pilots were eating carrots for better vision.

So carrots do not improve vision, it was all a scam to fool the Germans.

You can try eye doing exercises to rebuild your vision. I recently started doing eye exercises to try to improve my vision. I created a blog where I record my progress with the exercises.

I haven't seen any improvement as yet, but other people (who have experienced improvements) also post comments about their experiences as well. You can check it out at: http://improvingmyeyesight.com/blog

Good luck

Well technically yes because of the carotene in them but I don't think it significantly rebuilds eye vision in a snap. Try laser surgery or corrective lenses/ eyewear.
