Putting pot handles away from the edge of a stove (prevents snagging the handle, pulling pot over, and burning whomever's nearby).

Proper methods of washing and or cutting vegetables. Switching cutting boards between meat and veggies.

Hi Selena,

How about clean clothes, or one's personal hygeine? As for the bad. How about using the same spoon for two items (this is cross contamination) Opening a can and the metal shavings fall in(physical contamination) What about toxins?(botulism, salmonella) Hoe tis helps you out.

Good Luck

Bad things--not knowing how to do the Heimlich maneuver to prevent choking. Cooking using trans fatty oils. Using chicken cutting boards for chicken ONLY--Cheese cutting boards for cheese ONLY, vegetable cutting board for vegetables ONLY to prevent salmonella. Checking the temperature of the refrigerator and freezer. Checking the dates on foods to make sure they are fresh.
