It is good... put a little vinegar on it. I prefer it cooked.

USUALLY spinach is edible raw or cooked. I would highly recommend not eating it raw at all right now. The CDC has not determined if the e-coli contamination is limited to one product label. If you want to eat it cooked, you can kill e-coli by heating your spinach to a temp. of 160 degrees. the only way to ensure all your spinach leaves have reached this temp. is by boiling vs. sauteed in a pan in which all leaves may or MAY NOT reach this temp.

Spinach is safe to eat when cooked. Even raw spinach is ok as long as it is not from the three counties in California that had the E-coli outbreak.

Yes! I've grown up eating steamed spinach. It's not bad. It's fine to eat it fresh too...you've probably had salads made with baby spinach before and just thought it was lettuce!

please NO - not right now - listen to the gal from the CDC!!! it can NOT adn will not maintain a temp long enough to burn off the potential bacteria. this INCLUDES FROZEN FRESH SPINACH - you MUST check the date on the packaging - if it was harvested around the same time - the freezing process does NOT remove the bacteria.
buy the canned stuff for now!!!

If it's boiled yes. Make sure not to touch it with your hands when pouring it into the pot. People get sick from the spinach by touching the uncooked stuff.
