I'm with a military guy, and let me tell you, its hard. You have to be really independent and very loyal. My man leaves for 6 months out of the year on subs and it hard. But I write him alot and work on college and I go to the gym alot. Grab a B.O.B and get used to being alone. It is worth it though

They dont. If hes only going too be gone for a short period of time it may work but if he will be gone for long periods of time and this relationship is new i not really worth it.

Long distance relationships can strain any relationship. Just keep an open mind and be ready for what can ail you!

That would be hard to handle... you guys are still in your puppy love stage... long distance relationships work if you are both into eachother... they are hard but just tell youself that he won't be gone forever... and that he will be back soon...
