you lucky dude you.
as an ex-tour guide i'll let you know something. we get propositioned at least once on EVERY trip, but we choose who we get off with. sometimes just the one person, sometimes the whole group, depends on the guide and the situation.
the image of the 'well respected guide' is just that, a professional image she must put on for you the paying customer (aka pax).
you've obviously never been on a trip before, coz you'd have noticed that the sexual tension is high. those that go on contiki style trips in europe know that the guide, driver, cook and any other hanger ons get off with as many pax as possible, it's like a game.
in africa there may be long periods of not seeing those you really care about, so you get off with the next best thing, your pax. don't be surprised if you don't hear from her again, after all she's probably got a man who is also a tour leader and they only meet every so often.
good on you for enjoying your trip, thanks for reminding me of good times had while leading people around on holidays, aaahhh...
