not me - change your name - but that makes sense with a question like this - who's your daddy?

Not only is God a daddy figure he's the one and only true father figure because he will never leave or forsake us because he loves us this much, because the great God of Israel will always stick closer to us than any family member, because we must all remember that God the father is eternal, because even after our biological father has passed on our father in heaven is still going to remain faithful and true in all his way to comfort us,because it is true that a biological dad may one day say he wants to be in your life and then the next day he change his mind and walk out the door on his family, but we know with God the father he never changes that is why he say we should call no one father but him, because when I looked for my biological father and needed him most in my own life he was not there, but when I seeked the great God of heaven and earth I always found him and I can still find my father in heaven because he is right here with us right now, because when I was hungry my father in heaven gave me food his words of eternal life and well you see when I prayed to the true and living God of Israel he always answer my prayers and so you see God of heaven is the only father figure because he will never fail us and he will never let us down because the great God of Israel is the only father I have ever known and I would not have it any other way, because over and over again he has proven his love to all of us. shalom

I don't know about a daddy "figure". However, I do view myself as his son, and a child at that reguardless of my age.
When I pray I call him "Heavenly Father"... However in times of pain to the point where I can NOT handle it myself any longer I have called him daddy as achild would call thier human father.

During my divorce (which was not wanted) I cried frequently and called him daddy.

Just as Christ did "abba".

"Daddy" is exactly how God has revealed Himself to us. Jesus said we are to call God the Father "Abba". "Abba" was one of several terms He could have used for "Father", but Jesus used that specific term, which was the most personal and intimate term for "Father" that existed in His language. It actually means "Daddy" or "Dad" or "Pop". Addressing God in this way doesn't show disrespect any more than addressing our human fathers this way does. It is how God Himself chose to be addressed by us.

I do maybe because it makes the whole thing touchable and I had a better relationship awith my dada and also that i sort of explains some delays with the answer to prayers. I think he has my best interest at heart and he's just working things out for my good.

God should be looked at as a father figure....

He loves his creation, He takes care of his creation, He is so into us that He even knows how many hairs we have on our head, He sent his only son to die on the cross to forgive our sins

It's problematic to view God as we view our fathers though.....We should get our view of fathers from looking as God as a father not vice versa......in other words, its hard to look as god as a father if our own father sucks, we should look as god as the example to see how fathers should be

I do. He watches out for me and he wipes my tears when I cry. He leads me the right way instead of just letting me run wild. And I know I can make a mistake and he will forgive me. And there is no one else I would take all of my problems to but Him.I know He can fix them, whatever they are.

"daddy figures" are real people. God is not.
