I too LOVE salsa but have difficulty choosing a favorite as for different foods call for different types of salsa. I make my own depending on the type of food I am making. I love Mango Salsa for cheese and shrimp quesadillas and I make a tomatillo sauce for pork. On chips I love Insanely Hot salsa w/ quacamole. Hmmm - gotta go I am now hungry for SALSA! Congrats on the awards.

I used to love spicy, til my gallbladder surgery put an end to that. For regular salsa a sweet/mild is my choice, but one I've found even better is a pineapple salsa made by Paul Newman - It's fantastic!! They also have a citrus lime salsa that goes great with the citrus lime tortilla chips...Serve with a nice frozen margarita by the way...

I used to like insanely hot. In fact, I used to grow my own red chili', jalepeno's and habenero's so I could make my own pico sauce. Then a mexican friend complained "You make your sauce so hot that you can't taste the food". Well, I found he was right. The sauce would burn my mouth to the point where my tongue was desensitized and all I could taste was "hot" and not really the food. Now I eat medium hot sauce and can't believe how much better the food tastes.

I like hot, I do eat insanely hot but sometimes it ruins what your eating after your mouth is real hot. I ate some cajun salsa before a meal one time, and it was so hot it spoiled my main course

I like medium most pf them time becuase it is spicy but not to hot. But when I am feeling good, I like the hot salsa to fire things up!

I like it hot! the hotter the better, as long as there is a good flavour to go with it. All burn and no taste, no good. I can my own jalapenoes.
