Summary
if you are over 28 you are on the down slope to have children.

Worrying about getting pregnant will sometimes delay things. You must find a way to get your self undercontrol. If things don't happen for you soon, maybe you should consider that seeing a specialist is the thing to do. Don't just make it your problem, you could be perfectly healthy, and your husband could be the reason for the delay in you getting pregnant. On a more solemn note, you have said that you are obese, have you considered the effects obesity can have on your body? take it from someone who has had first hand experience, kids don't like it when heavy parents show up for back to school night. Try getting a handle on your weight, and maybe that will relieve some of the stress you are having in this situation. Good luck, and happy fun trying to get pregnant!

Your fertility rate starts to drop when you're 27 or 28, so you've got a bit of time. Don't panic. Plenty of women become pregnant in their 30's! Being obese can keep you from becoming pregnant. I would lose some weight and try again. You'll need to make your periods regular again somehow...figure out the root of the problem and fix it (could be the weight). That's probably part of the problem as well.

ALSO- Get your husband's sperm count checked if you do all of the above and it still doesn't work. Go to the doctor, he/she will get you sorted out and make sure there are no BIG medical problems going on.

Think about the fact that you are obese. Being overweight comes with many health concerns, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and also infertily. Don't be too worried, just take better care of yourself. (In other words, try to lose some weight). You or your husband could also have performance anxiety, but don't worry, that is not all that serious, it's just that it's a fact that when people are more relaxed during sex, they are more likely to have a baby. You can't rush these things, such as having a baby, because in your case, because you want to give your husband a baby, and have a baby yourself, you're putting pressure on yourself to feel obligated to have a baby, when in fact there should not be any kind of pressure involved. Just relax, and enjoy the moment as is. You'll be glad that you did.

being overweight can have an affect of becoming pregnant. If your body is not the right enviroment for a fetus it won't stick around. You need to get yourself on some vitamins, and watch your health, perhaps start eating a little bit better, become a little more active. Get your body in order. and most of all relax, it should come naturally.

also, it might be a good idea to pay a visit to the doctor to rule out an other medical problems, or complications..

Talk to your doctor, possibly a fertility specialist. You can also start with a home ovulation kit, perhaps you dont ovulate monthly which is common. You can buy these over the counter, but I would recommend a visit with the doctor-start there and soon you will be a mom. There are so many things to help couples in your case, its very common now people having a hard time conceiving.

People have children in their 40's.....Calm down!
Surely if you are 25 you understand the complications for you and a fetus if you are obese.?? I think you know the answer to your question.......Your weight has place a lot of pressure on your ovaries, your liver, your EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!I know because I was there...That is why I can say this......Concentrate on your inner and outer beauty and your health before you become pregnant with child............You will want to be able to care for that child in a lot of ways...............Good luck!

See a gynecologist to be tested for poly-cystic ovarian syndrome. If you have put on weight suddenly for no apparent reason and your periods became irregular about the same time these could be symptoms of this condition which results in infertility. It is treatable but if left untreated you may develop diabetes and or possibly endometrial cancer. Don't panic though, just see a doctor and ask about it....if you have the syndrome the doctor can treat it and prevent the adverse effects.

First you have to get your periods to where they occur monthly. To do that, first visit a doctor. You may have to go onto birth control to regulate your period to something more normal. Second, you may have to loose some weight. There are many ways to do this, just set a reasonable goal and do it. Good luck.
