With some puppies they can have a slight incontinance problems until they get older. Possible if when you take her out to pee and she seems to strain to urinate she could have a UTI (urinary tract infection). With puppies it usullay ends up going away with age, but since your pup is a yorkiepoo it could be a little longer due to the mix breeding. If she doesn't have any reddish color in her urine and isn't straining to urinate when she is outside. I would most likely think it has to do with puppy incontinance. Try taking her out to before company comes and while company is there to not let her have the chance to have enough in her bladder to pee when she is excited. Or even try taking up water and taking her out about 20 min. or so before company comes over. Hope that helps a little

Is the dog being submissive or expressing displeasure at the company?
If it is submissive peeing it might just be something she needs to grow out of. Possibly keep a crate with piddle pad in it by the door so you can stash her quickly when the doorbell rings.
If she is upset that people are coming over and is doing in an act of defiance- You need to work on discipline.
Sometimes enrolling in a doggie obedience class with other dogs helps both issues and it is always a good idea anyway. Good luck with your problem!

some dogs are what we like to call "happy pee-ers". You can try training them different ways, but it may not work. Sometimes over excited dogs just do that. There is a dog that daycare's with us where I work, she's done it since she was a puppy, and now she's getting older and still doing it. Her owner says she has tried every thing, but nothing works.

It is an excitement thing......you can make sure to put her out before company comes or you can try having her go outside to meet the company(on a leash) and she can do her deed in the front....

my dog used to do that-she just got so excited! b4 ur company comes over-put her outside so she can go to the bathroom-then let her in. if she still pees when she see them-have them greet her outside. make sure that she is healthy too-it could be a bladder prob.

your dog is just excited. some dogs can't control this...try putting her outside shortly before your company comes so she can relieve herself, maybe this won't be so bad.
is she fixed? sometimes after spaying this interferes with there bladder control, the muscles loosen which makes it harder for them to hold it when they get excited.

I have a two year old shi tzu and she does the same thing. Trainers at pet smart say it probably won't stop, but yelling at them makes it worse.
