My husband and I met on the internet and corresponded every night for 1 full year before actually meeting. I lived in Canada and he lived in South Carolina.
We have now been married for 3 years. We spend 6 months in Canada (spring to summer) and 6 months in South Carolina (fall and winter).

I don't know where the person I love and respect - with all my heart - lives. Far or near.
I just know I met him once in my life and I wouldn't trade that moment at gun-point or a million dollars. Believe me - that moment is priceless and money has no value compared to the safety and care he gave me.
However, that's probably not the answer you're looking for: how about sending a nice letter...? I'd just go there if I could....
But good luck to you... and stay safe. - Maryam

deal. there is'nt much you can do but keep in contact. one of my ex's was in the army reserves and he got shipped away to Iraq. And another that went into the Navy, he got moved to Chicago though. It's not living far away, but that's basically the same. The one in the army was in Iraq for about three years, the one in the Navy was gone for about a year. We got through it and then he got shipped off again so I broke it off, I could'nt handle the whole war thing, not so much the long distance.

What you should do is just call him and ask him if he would want to go out with you? Or try to get his e-mail address and e-mail him and ya could be contacting each other everyday. Or if u don't like being far away then just try to forget about him.

If you guys are serious about eachother then just see if the other person would move closer to you or you move closer to the other person... Unless you guys haven't known eachother that long then I would get to know eachother a little bit longer and maybe meet a couple of times to see if you hit it off...

I would write to him and try to make it work. Usually it is hard to keep a long distance relationship but some people can do it. I hope your one of those people. If it doesn't work out then you can just be friends.

You need to move on. Chances are this will not last because of the distance. I know by experience. I tried for over a year and it just is too hard. He was the love of my life so it wasn't because the relationship wasn't worth it. Please move on

Basically three things:
1. Call her when I can. When we're not both busy.
2. I try to keep busy, when I'm busy my mind is diverted.
3. Sexually, its time to take matters into my own hands...........

If you think you can handle a long distance relationship, then stay together, but if not, you have to let go or you'll just hurt yourself missing them everyday, and if it was meant to be, you'll be together again.
