I do not straighten my hair on a regular basis but may be 3 or 4 times a month. What I do is when I get out of the shower I spry on vitamen enriched leave-in conditioner (john frida step three), as well as frizz-free serum. After they have both been absorbed my my hair (10 minutes later more or less) I straighten my hair with a dry wet flat iron. After I finish I put on another treatment (pantene-proV) that helps rehidrate the areas of your hair that might have been damaged during the process.

use some oil maybe right after ironing. I mean like olive oil or coconut oil. Thats a natural hair remedy to keep it shiny and healthy and not dry and crackled.

I hate the look of mechanically straihtened hair. Especially on womyen whose race or nationality normally has beautiful curly hair. I wish peole would find beauty in themselves and not by changing.

i used to straighten my hair everyday. i stopped because my hair started to look extremely dead and damaged. i would adivise u not to, but if u MUST then i used to use, one or the other, paul mitchell super skinny serum ( dont use to much or u'll fry the **** out of it) or the brilliant brunette straight serum ( again dont use too much) or the biolage heat hero spray. its all wonderful.
