Homemade wine is not only safe, but delicious. I had a Russian grandmother who used to sit in a dank cellar and hand squeeze the cheeries that grew in her orchard. She dropped them one by one into a giant glass container. This would sit for about 1 year and for the holidays next season, the family was treated to the sweetest of wines.

In my experience it has been very safe and quite tasty. My dad makes homemade wine all the time. The danger about his wine is that it taste so good that you tend to drink more than one glass and it is almost as potent as whiskey.

Yes homemade wine is safe, If it goes bad it taste and smells like vinagar. so you will no when not to drink it, And if you did try to drink it you would only get sick, not die
Its whiskey and other hard stuff that made in the wrong containers or not done right can make you very sick or die, So you will all ways be safe with vines

My first wine ever was my Granddad's homemade white wine. He's the one that got me interested in wine and now I'm a wine consultant.

only if the person making it cleans and sanitize all equipment !!!! if not you will end up with vinegar and some type of mold swimming around it! yum, yum
