Since I live in the Philippines, where San Miguel originated (not Spain), I support the company by drinking nearly 6000 bottles every year. I weigh the same, 72 kg, as I did at 25 and haven't been to a doctor for 15 years and haven't needed a dentist for 16 years. I feel better now than I did 20 years ago, when I also used to drink a bottle of tequila every day on top of my beer.
San Miguel is definitely the best beer in the world.( but only the stuff brewed in Manila).

No. It never was, in my beer drinking days at least. I have always thought Carlsburg was pretty good but Becks I think is the best. Now I understand they brewed San Miguel in Spain, Philippines and Mexico. I have had the first two at least and though I enjoyed the brew, to much sometimes, it didn't strike me as best in the world. I still have to put some British and even an American brew in front of it.

Oh well who am I to say as all my friends and family think Bud Light can't be beat.

Regards
Jon

My tastes change so much, I could never decide on a "best beer". But if I had to choose, I would say one of my local microbrew pubs have the best beer. It's all very fresh, cheap (happy hour $1.90 pints) and absolutely delicious.
