We do not have a lift and it just looks like a tangle of wires. It is not near the starter on our car.

The better question would have been ... what is an easy way to follow this cable to the body frame? Ours needs to be replaced.

just follow the wire that goes from your negative pole of battery to chassis

On the block near the starter

If I remember it is on the left side of the engine in the front on a motor support bracket. Different years have different places.

sound be several points coming off the negative post of the battery. One to the engine bay, one to the engine etc.
