Lol, I am a "chick" and I used to have a sunfire, and currently own a cavalier. Any other models instead?

Hondas are good used cars but with any used car you want to try to find something that is under 7 years old and with less than 70K mileage on it. Older than that or with more mileage and you will start to run into maintenance issues. Not to mention that you won't be able to get a loan on it-at least not in CA.

Toyota, Honda, Nissan and Lexus are really reliable. I suggest getting the newest used car that you can afford. I personally wouldnt buy a used car that is made before 2001.

When you go used car shopping, take a good or trusted mechanic (preferably a friend) with you.

Get a Chevy Cavalier or a Pontiac Sunfire if you're a chic.

used, get a civic, accord, corolla, camry, lexus etc. Those tend to last a good long time. Toyota automatics are better than honda's.

I have had Honda's and Nissan's and the engine's have lasted over 400,000 miles on each! Good Luck!

I'd recommend Mazda Protege. I've been driving mine since 1999 (I bought it new), and I've never had any trouble. And it's got rack and pinion steering, which is cool to drive! Plus it gets good mileage.

Honda's. Keep their value and get great gas mileage.
